How to add your business to Yelp
Yelp is a great place to find reviews on local businesses so it is important. Businesses that have been added as partners can show up in sponsored results, making them more likely than others for customers looking at Yelp’s platform! Here are some tips when adding your company:
1) Sign-up with Facebook or Google+. This will allow you upload images and links from websites like Instagram (although posting photos isn’t required). Make sure there aren’t any spelling errors before hitting publish;
2) Yelp has a lot of different categories, and if you’re not sure which one your business fits into then it may be best to list in more than one. For example-if ” chiropractic care” is listed as an option but also includes general medical services like physical therapy or acupuncture; make sure that’s clear when posting information about what types of treatments are offered at this location so people know how much they’ll get out their visit.
3) Details, detail, details. Add your business to Yelp and enter the details of what you have for customers. You can also add links that will help them find out more information about their nearest location, as well as hours if they need them!
4)Expectations. Show your customers what they can expect when working with you by adding a high quality, well lit photo of the interior or exterior of your business. A great way to do this would be posting one on Facebook and Instagram so others know exactly who it is before coming in!
5) Reviews. For a successful business, it’s important to always be aware of what customers are saying about your company. A good strategy for getting reviews on Yelp is by encouraging them and making sure you respond promptly!
